Apropos of nothing, other than to sate our mid-week need for a bit of childishness, here’s our pick of London destinations that sound vaguely rude.

  • Cockfosters
  • Shepherd’s Bush
  • Mudchute
  • Arsenal
  • Belsize Park
  • Wapping
  • Roding Valley
  • Oval
  • Hornchurch
  • Emspankment

Can you think of any other sordid locales? And if you’re similarly afflicted with a dirty mind, why not try our rude and lewd pub crawl?

Of course Kenneth William et al. in 1960s Round the Horne used to find The Balls Pond Road hilarious …
