Temporary School Of Thought Reunion

Last year our perceptions about squatters really began to be challenged as the Temporary School of Thought took up residence in a Mayfair mansion and opened a 3 week long, truly open, free to access university-city, running courses in everything from philosophy to maze making, cooking to applied sorcery.

A year on and Douglas Hine, reflecting on the experience and the many creative things that happened in its wake, has decided to hold a reunion. Where better to make this happen that at Brixton Village, where empty spaces are being put to alternative uses - the Space Station Festival being one.

Temporary schoolers, activists, artists and anyone who's interested should turn up around 11am. If you want to hold a talk or a workshop you can as the programme for the day is still being finalised. Check out their facebook page or just show up. Wear warm clothes, take a cushion and help rekindle the spirit of the Mayfair School.

Temporary School of Thought's reunion is this Saturday 9 January from 11am at Unit 40, Brixton Village (indoor market). Check out the Space Station Festival while you're there.
