Government Minister Lays Into Eurostar

eurostar1.jpg Europe minister Chris Bryant has used Twitter, fast becoming a tool of the irked and the wronged, to launch a volley of invective against Eurostar. Ensnared for the second day in a row by trouble on the line, Bryant fumed that he is "rapidly developing a very severe hatred" of the weather-wracked service, and complained that his loco was travelling at a mere "one mile per year". Bryant's position means regular cross-Channel trips to Paris are a remit of his job, so he's perhaps entitled to a bit of rail-rage, but we imagine he's been summarily removed from transport secretary Andrew Adonis' Christmas card list.
