We found traces of Lambeth's most famous son lurking around the Garden Museum last year but tomorrow, a full exhibition dedicated to this 'Great Londoner' opens at The London Film Museum in his home borough. The Chaplin Exhibition follows Charles from the Black Prince Road slums to the Victorian music halls and West End, then across the pond to the silver screen, the invention of the iconic Tramp and global celebrity. The London Film Museum is in County Hall on the Southbank. Visitor information here.
