With the Christmas party season upon us, the streets will be littered with vile drunken bodies and pavement pizzas. The transport network is vital at this time of year for helping us all get home safe, so here's a photographic celebration of some transport minutiae.
If you can't get a tube, bus, train or official black cab, don't be tempted to get into an illegal minicab solicited by someone on the street or accept a lift from a kerb crawler. Only ever get in a minicab if you or your company ordered it beforehand from a recognised company.
As mentioned previously, TfL are trying to crack the problem with a hard-hitting campaign against illegal minicabs. The rather unnerving video (for the over-15s only) has now been released and you can watch it here.
And remember to store the Cabwise number on your phone. By texting the line, you'll get the numbers of one taxi and two licensed minicab firms, in the area you are texting from.
