Football: Spurs Dublin Trip Provokes Redknapp's Wrath

1910_tottenham.jpg Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has vowed to crack down on the craic after a group of his players took a secret Christmas break to Dublin last week. Flying in the face of a club-wide ban on Yuletide saturnalia, a gaggle of 16 players, including high profile first-team regulars, jetted off to the Irish capital just days before Spurs choked at home to Wolves. Robbie Keane, who seems to be emerging as the ringleader, told the gullible Redders that they were going on a humble golf trip, but as we've all recently found out, the modern golfing lifestyle attracts an enormous amount of vice and debauchery. Redknapp promised that the matter will be dealt with "internally", and has vowed to confront the offenders after Saturday's match against Blackburn.
