Santa's Lap: London Icons Dishcloth

dishcloth.jpg Every day until Christmas the Londonist team will be pointing you in the direction of a Christmas present that (with a bit of luck) you won't already have on your list. Climb up onto our collective lap and we'll see what we can move from our sack to your stockings...

Yes. A dishcloth. We're seriously suggesting you get somebody a dishcloth for Christmas. Oh come on, it's totally useful and it'll bring a bit of joy to those mundane chores. Plus it's only £3.75 (+ P&P). From the husband and wife (and daughter) team at Hunkydory Home, it's got the O2 balancing atop Tate Modern's chimney and Big Ben enclosed by the Gherkin (plus some more traditional representations).

The cloths are washable, and made from cellulose derived from wood and cotton so you can compost them when they reach the end of their lives. Much more fun than a J-cloth, don't you think? And if you want to make a package present, there's always a London tray for £24, or for people who always watch the Queen's speech there are coasters and clocks of her Maj's head.

The London dishcloth costs £3.75 from Hunkydory Homes.
