Preview: Club Mofo @ Barden's Boudoir

One of our favourite DIY parties, Club Mofo is back at Barden's Boudoir this Saturday night for another bash filled with exciting new bands and old fashioned raving. Topping the bill are the ridiculously hip French band Dat Politics who last time they played packed the place out and nearly created a dancing riot. Representing London are electronic twirlers Erste Kontakte and Londonist favourites My Tiger My Timing and Bright Light Bright Light. The latter is the new name of acoustic singer songwriter Rod Thomas, since he discovered the power of the synth and turned everything up a notch. Having worked with the likes of Boom Bip, Gotye and James Yuill over the last year, we're really excited to hear his forthcoming material. 'Good Times' over on his myspace is a good example of what to expect.

All this band fun will be accompanied by the ever fun DJ sounds of The Daughters of the Kaos, joined by The Lovely Jonjo, Partygeist and Forgive Me Lord, For I Have Synth. We have no idea who Forgive Me Lord is but 10 points for that name.

Doors open at 8 with entry £4 before 8.30 and £6 after. Bargain. More details here.
