Post-Christmas Rail Strike? Repeat Ad Infinitum

Oh look. Another threatened rail strike. Time to break out Londonist's post generator...

[RMT / Aslef / anyone who feels like it] are threatening to [strike / give away flowers and cake] on [insert really inconvenient time period here: just after Christmas] following a dispute over [pay / holiday / lack of chocolate biscuits in the break room]. Staff at [Southern] are miffed because [they want recompense for working 28 December which, since Boxing Day falls on a Saturday, is a bank holiday] and are calling it [an "insult"]. [Southern] responded:

"What we are doing is in line with other train operators and businesses. What the union is asking for is three bank holidays over Christmas rather than two that everyone else enjoys."

You're likely to be pissed off if you travel [to Victoria] around the [28 December]. [Insert final sarcastic comment here:] What do you know: they might be getting 28 December off after all.

Note: Londonist reserves the right to auto-post this text at any time. It'll probably be accurate whenever it gets published.
