London Blend: Chamomile

Continuing our caffeine-fueled quest around London

Nestled on a side street five minutes away from Primose Hill, Chamomile is a great local coffee shop in all the best ways - the ambiance is so laid-back and friendly, you can read a book and nurse a cup of coffee for hours. On the walls hangs a manifesto of sorts, proclaiming Chamomile's commitment to their customers by providing local and free-range ingredients.

The coffee is standard fare - rich and strong cappuccinos are topped with dark chocolate and lattes are deep in flavour, smooth in texture. Bread from Beckers Bakers is also on hand, delivered fresh every morning. All their cakes are homemade - Lola’s cupcakes, tiramisu, chocolate cake and the finest almond croissants in town tempt us on arrival. The best seat in the house is in the back near the window, which gives you a view of the tranquil Fine Arts College and its beautiful quad.
