East Londoners Caught for Selling Counterfeit Golf Clubs on eBay

golf1.jpg It seems as though golf-related scandals have really swung into the news lately-first it was Tiger and his women, and now a seven member East London gang has been found guilty of selling counterfeit golf clubs on eBay. The gang sold millions of pounds worth of fake golf clubs, which were manufactured in China, to customers in Ireland, Australia, the US, and Brazil between 2003 and 2008. Officials from Havering Council and eBay have remarked on the large scale of the operation as well as the dedication needed to catch counterfeiters who have found protection via the anonymity of the Internet. The golf club bandits should be sentenced in January for their sub-par behaviour.(Image/Massimo_Usai)
