Music Preview: Gypsy Soundclash @ Cargo

Mid-wet-wintry-week we recommend a dose of Gypsy Soundclash at Cargo. Experiments with Balkan, Gypsy and Yiddish sounds means fast fiddles, rampant rhythms and bounding beats; just what you need to get the blood racing. Not to be pigeonholed, headliners Victor Menace!!! class themselves Classical / Roots Music / Thrash with a dash of tipsy gypsy for good measure - the fiddles will be on fire but watch out for funk, woops and mayhem too. Also on the line up, some Kleizmer from the Shetl Superstars Orchestra and very fast gypsy brass from Alejandro and The Magic Tombolinos. Weds 25th November, 7pm-1am, £5 adv/£8 door.
