Monday
Inside Out (BBC1, 19.30-20.00) The local magazine programme, this week featuring a one-man mission to rid the capital of lice.
University Challenge (BBC2, 20.00-20.30) UCL are hoping for a place in the quarter finals, but first have to get past Emmanuel College, Cambridge.
Our Mutual Friend (Radio 4, 19.45-20.00) Radio adaptation of Dickens' most London-filled novel continues with part 11. Further installments each night at the same time.

Tuesday
Grimefighters (ITV1, 19.30-20.00) Mostly London-based look at the more noisome aspects of modern living.
John Sargeant On The Tourist Trail (ITV1, 20.00-21.00) The latex-faced journalist looks at the obsession of foreign tourists with British heroes, including the minor industry surrounding Sherlock Holmes.

Wednesday
Spooks (BBC1, 21.00-22.00) More London-based espionage.
The Eureka Years (Radio 4, 21.00-21.30) It's 1893 and the new-fangled internal combustion engine looks set to free London's streets from pollution.
