John Sargeant On The Tourist Trail (ITV1, 20.00-21.00) The latex-faced journalist looks at the obsession of foreign tourists with British heroes, including the minor industry surrounding Sherlock Holmes.
Wednesday
Spooks (BBC1, 21.00-22.00) More London-based espionage.
The Eureka Years (Radio 4, 21.00-21.30) It's 1893 and the new-fangled internal combustion engine looks set to free London's streets from pollution.
