Looking to start your week off right? Then make sure to head down to the Kentish Town forum tonight to check out what is arguably Canada’s largest alt rock band, The Tragically Hip.

The band which formed in Ontario during the early 80’s has consistently been putting out one hit album after another, and now hold the record for most number one debuts on the Canadian Album Charts. They started their musical careers in a small university town, playing Rolling Stones and Doors covers - influences which can still be detected in their music today. However, it is through their smooth mix of political and personal, sincere and satirical, potent country rock, that the Hip has made their name. Their performances are consistently full of energy and will leave you with no doubt in your mind why they have earned such a loyal following.

Touring in support of the Bob Rock-produced “We Are the Same”, released in April and the band’s twelfth studio album, you can expect a fun night of hockey references and nautical disasters.

Tonight: The Kentish Town Forum from 7:00, tickets available on the door for £25 or here.
