Victorian Values: Late At The British Library

kitty-dewinterfairbotham.jpg There's a distinct whiff of Victoriana around town, what with the Christmas Carol lights and it's permeated the British Library for their twisted Victorian Values Late tomorrow night. In cahoots with The Ministry of Burlesque the evening is pitched around the Points of View exhibition of photography, taking Victorian wonderment with "new fangled photography" as its starting point. You can expect to find Miss Red Sarah The Strongest Man in the World, Britannia Herself in Red, White & Thoroughly Blue plus your esteemed host Mr. Desmond O’Connor The Singing Satyr. There will be live music, "high tease", DJs and your chance to dress up in whalebone corsets and top hats and have an olde worlde photo taken in Madame De Luz's photographic parlour. Book now, call 01937 546 546. £7.50 between 7-11pm.
