Don't call it a farmers market. Coming your way the 5th of December to an undisclosed warehouse in Dalston, Towards a Fluid State promises “an immersive and informative food and drink experience profiling flights of Cognac, whisky, gin, sake and natural and biodynamic wine matched with delicious morsels of food.” After a tipple of a press preview this past weekend, Londonist certainly ambled away feeling all sorts of cheerily immersed.

Highlighting an extremely likeable range of independent producers, distributors and brands, such as local gin makers Sipsmith - as well as showcasing designers, artists and musicians of the emerging variety - this upstart extravaganza of a foodie fest is the inspired collaboration of Hayley Sudbury and Angella Newell (not to mention a heavin' gaggle of interns and helper monkeys). These are the same sass-tastic ladies behind London's monthly Tasting Sessions, food and drink pairings which won our cynical hearts over during their Cognac sippin' session back in March.

If the convivial spirit of the Tasting Sessions can be translated into festival-ese then Londonist supposes this newbie event has the makings of an especially tasty opportunity to have some fun.

Tickets for Towards a Fluid State are now on sale, starting at £16.50. Visit www.towardsafluidstate.com to purchase yours and for more details.
