Selhurst Park Put Up For Sale

2310_palace.jpg Wanna buy a stadium? Crystal Palace's home of Selhurst Park has been put up for sale as administrators break up the property empire of owner Paul Kemsley. For those of you wondering, 'Paul who?', suffice it to say that the saga of who exactly owns Selhurst Park has all the twists and complexity of a John Grisham thriller; those studying a course in business administration might get some joy out of this synopsis. The main news is that Palace have a 25-year lease on the ground, and any buyer will have to keep the club on as a tenant unless they can provide another stadium within Croydon. Not much chance of that, though there's deep irony that Palace, who have twice played landlord to certain local rivals, now find themselves at risk of eviction.
