We feared it might be a “wicker man meets village fete” affair but the Queer Chub Harvest Festival was a rip-roaring, face stuffing, carrot grabbing, vegetable monster of a success bursting at the seams with fabulous, colourful harvest produce and overflowing – appropriately – with cake.
