Civil Liberties Panel Call For G20 Experiences

The MPA's Civil Liberties Panel is holding an open meeting to discuss April's G20 demonstrations. They're looking for first hand accounts from people who were there, grouped into three broad topics:

- pre-event planning

- policing on the day

- communications before, during and after the demos

The meeting takes place between 9.30am-12.30pm on 5 November at City Hall. You need to download and return a registration form or, if you can't be there in person, you can send written submissions to PPO [at] mpa.gov.uk.

The Civil Liberties Panel was created as part of Met Forward, Boris's strategy for London's police. The panel is made up of GLA members and it's not going to work without feedback from the public. So, if you have something to say about the G20, whatever your experience, make sure you get in touch.
