Strikes Off

Sighs of relief from Victoria Line commuters and trans-channel travellers who prefer others to pick up after them as strikes by RMT members on the Vicky Line and Eurostar cleaners are called off. Whilst LU say there was never any reason for the tube strike action, Bob Crow is congratulating his members on their "unity and resolve" in reaching agreement over workloads and rosters. The RMT will now enter into conciliation talks with the Eurostar cleaners' employer, Carlisle Group, to press for a London Living Wage and fight the "Orwellian" use of fingerprinting to clock on and off.
