Showtime Challenge: Crazy For You

auditions_SC.jpg We thought they were crackers last year when they threw together Me & My Girl in 48 hours and presented it on the West End stage. But the Evening Standard gave it a 4/5 star review and it all went rather well. So, naturally, they're back with another lunatic sounding Showtime Challenge, this year a production of Gershwin's Crazy for You in aid of Cecily's Fund.

Open auditions took place in July so the cast is all lined up. But they can't start working on the show until 48 hours before curtain up. You can however buy tickets now to help them sweat and provide a rousing keen audience ready to assist the shedloads of chutzpah required to pull it off. From scratch to stage in 48 hours? See it to believe it.

Showtime Challenge's production of Crazy for You takes place on Sunday 18 October at 7.30pm at the London Palladium. Tickets are £17.50-£35 with all proceeds going to Cecily's fund which helps educate Zambian children orphaned by AIDS.
