U2 Fans Still Haven’t Found What They’re Looking For

Which is a straightforward way to get to Wembley this weekend to see the Irish rock veterans play live. TfL have helpfully suspended the Jubilee Line between Green Park and Stratford this weekend for engineering work, just one closure in a summer of disruption for people trying to get to weekend events. Replacement bus services are laid on, but the Metropolitan and Bakerloo lines may be hard pushed to cope with the thousands of extra passengers heading to the Stadium. Still, a Beautiful Day is forecast with no Electrical Storms and the Mysterious Ways of TfL won’t dampen the spirits (or the lighters) of fans on Saturday Night.

Have I missed something here? Wembley Park station on the Jubilee line isn’t between Green Park and Stratford. So will be getting a normal-ish level of service for the concert on Saturday.

You can see that the whole line is closed on Sunday (when there’s no gig), but to be fair to TfL, it’s good to see that they have limited this to Sunday (possibly to limit impact on people going to the gig on Saturday)
