Step Into The Night Walk To Help Rwandan Children

stepintothenight.jpg You know we're partial to the urban hike and indeed, the fanciful tour but we're also suckers for the good cause walk. If charity events of the Vertical Rush or firewalk variety aren't up your street, perhaps a 10 mile sponsored stroll round some of London's best loved tourist attractions at night might appeal. This one's in aid of work by UNICEF and Barclays fundraising for the million Rwandan schoolchildren that aren't getting an education following the civil war in their country. If 2,000 people walk in London, each raising one penny for every step taken, their contribution could help construct four new schools. So sod the pub this Friday night, sign up here and drum up some sponsorship from your nearest and dearest. The walk goes off on Friday 4th September, 7pm at Potters Fields.
