A series celebrating the talent of our friends over in the Londonist Flickr pool. Here, they introduce themselves and share their favourite London shots.

Conrad Chua is a Londonista in spirit. His recent move to the UK transformed his work-life balance. An initial flirtation with marathons was scuppered by his close friendship with his mates Ben and Jerry, but he has transferred his passion to long-distance cycling and photography. Conrad holds the distinction of being reigning Singapore champion at the Brompton World Championships and likes to think that he cuts a fine figure in his cycling mankini. He has an encyclopaedic knowledge of independent coffee shops in Zones 1 and 2, and would do almost anything for a cupcake or Portuguese custard tart.

As his meal ticket is located in Cambridge, this is where he now lives. Conrad is addicted to large bowls of breakfast noodles; as a lifelong Spurs fan, he is rather less enamoured but nevertheless resigned to the bitter taste of defeat. He has many torn up match tickets and countless photos to show for his decision, taken at an age when he should have had more parental guidance, to support the other North London team.

When stationary and non-gustatory, he enjoys the challenge of capturing London's cityscape with his array of cameras. Never one to resist the temptation of picking up yet another camera, he has amassed a collection ranging from a Canon 40D, several Lomos, a Holga and most recently a 30 year old Yashica.

Coming from Singapore, he looks at London through the eyes of a foreigner, and is continually surprised by the energy and down-right quirkiness of the city street. He loves nothing more than to jump on his Brompton and discover another street, another community or yet another festival. His photos have brought a very different side of London, one away from the tourists, to an audience back in Singapore.
