Dizzee For Stenders?

Following the runaway PR success of Boris Johnson's recent visit to the Queen Vic, it appears that producers are on the lookout for more stars to raise the show's profile, and have hinted that Dizzee Rascal would be welcome to make an appearance in Walford.

The star, who has always been fiercely proud of his East End roots, apparently told the Sun in a recent interview "I could see myself on EastEnders one day...they just need to offer me a role and I'm there". So, if the original Boy in da Corner can spare the time off from churning out number one singles he may soon be rubbing shoulders with Peggy Mitchell and Tanya Branning in the Queen Vic.

Young Dylan is certainly showing himself to be a man of many talents. After his Paxman interview on Newsnight last year, and a gig at City Hall back in 2007, who knows if this is the only occasion when he and Boris will be rivals for our attentions. Dizzee4mayor in 2012?
