£2 million Jewellery Raid In Brompton Road

Six helmeted robbers broke into a Knightsbridge jewellery store last week and made off with £2 million-worth of swag (or half that, according to the BBC). A motorbike-gang pulled up outside the Mozafarian shop at 11am last Wednesday. Unlike their Mayfair predecessors, this troupe eschewed sharp suits and latex faces in favour of an old-school smash and grab. After forcing their way into the shop, they bagged a large proportion of the displayed goods, including a £500,000 diamond necklace. The robbery was captured on CCTV, but the faces of all six men are obscured by their helmets. The raid is thought to be unrelated to the £40 million Mayfair heist, but police are concerned that the motorcycle gang might strike again.
