Londonist Lunchtimes: Secrets @ Southwark Playhouse

So, the weather's putting you off going outside and enjoying all London's free lunchtime entertainment, is it? Well, here's an indoor londonist lunchtime to whet your appetites.

And there's a free sarnie included in the price too. What more could you want?

Hidden underneath London Bridge Station is the rather brilliant, atmospheric vault space known as Southwark Playhouse. During July, this fab little venue is bringing a series of "Secrets" to the stage. Five of these Secrets could fill your lunchbreaks over the next month, sending you back to your afternoon's to-do list a little more cultured than you were before.

Each "secret" is completely unique; the Playhouse's eclectic programme includes theatre, comedy, storytelling and live art. Take your pick from 264 Hours (9 Jul), Bitten (14 Jul), Marat/Sade (16 Jul), Guilty Women (21 Jul) and Les Chaises (28 Jul).

All the shows start at 1pm. Tickets cost £5, and include that sandwich we told you about.

Capacity is limited so book ahead to avoid disappointment.

Southwark Playhouse Secrets take place throughout July, also during the evening. See www.spsecrets.co.uk for full info.
