Friday: The V&A's new exhibition, Telling Tales, which explores the boundaries between art and design, opens this week — and conveniently, the museum is open till 10pm tonight. Free.
Saturday: You could be dancing on the roof of the Southbank Centre tonight if you can fork out a mere fiver. United Underground takes over the Queen Elizabeth Hall from 8pm.
Sunday: Coin Street on the South Bank takes a Latin turn as the regular Colombianamente festival brings the sights and sounds of Colombia to London. Musicians, family workshops, and dancers are promised. ¡Bailamos! From 1pm - 7pm, free.
Monday: The inSpiral Lounge in Camden will host a discussion about the 'possibilities of the future', featuring some of the brightest sages in the city. 7pm, free.
Tuesday: The Tree House Gallery in Regent's Park opens this week. An "array of tree-top structures that will act as a catalyst to ignite the collective imagination, encouraging adults and children alike to explore a variety of creative responses to nature", the organisers are holding a meet today at 6pm. Free.
Wednesday: Catch Clusterfuck, the new installation from Nomad, the collective behind the Shamanic Ritual for Elephant and Castle. Involving a "a colossal velocoster" racetrack made of electric guitars and amplifiers, this has to be seen. Open Weds - Sun from this Sunday, between 12-6 at the Rochelle School, free.
Thursday: At the Dalston Mill, local group Gahu Dramatic Arts will be cooking up a feast of delicious African dishes, and performing African dancing, drumming, acrobatics, and fire eating. From 2-5pm, free.
