We loved the Invisible Library exhibition at Tenderpixel last month, so we couldn't wait to check out what's happening at the moment. And when we heard it was called Goodbye Turdbrains!, we dropped everything and ran down to Cecil Court to have a look.

Artist Mimi Leung was thinking about chemical and biological warfare, torture, genocide and Otto Dix when she made these images. At first they look fun, colourful and cartoonish, but the relentless symmetry and strange faces quickly make you realise these paintings are, well, grotesque. And in the tight space of the gallery there's no escaping them: go down and be weirded out.

If that's not enough to tempt you, from today the Experimental reels from the Rushes Soho Shorts Festival will be playing be in the gallery. See the premieres of the two showcases take place tonight and tomorrow between 6-9pm. Both reels will then play daily until 31 July, when the Tenderpix awards will be announced after Mimi Leung's artist Q&A.

Goodbye Turdbrains! runs until 10 August; Rushes Soho Shorts films play 24-31 July at Tenderpixel, 10 Cecil Court, WC2. For more information go to the Tenderpixel website.
