Elvis Alive and Well and Living in Tollington Park

Love this. A Pakistani Elvis tribute act performing in an Indian Restaurant in Finsbury Park. This story is great on so many levels. At a time when so many suburban Indian joints are evolving into flock wallpaper museums with with just the occasional bout of busy-ness to keep them from being lonesome at night, it is good to see a proactive restaurateur: one with a website, ideas and a sense of humour. And the splended incongruity of the act surely simply enhances the slightly surreal business of eating London Indian. Wonder how the food is?
