If Your Thing is Gone: Bag of Cocaine Found at Heathrow

The UK Border Agency has discovered an unclaimed bag containing £800,000 (or 20kg) worth of cocaine at one of Heathrow's luggage carousels. HM Revenue and Customs investigators are working to identify the suitcase's owner. The bag was first detected on Friday after arriving on a flight from Mexico. It seems that this whole cocaine ordeal simply won't blow over. In May a British lorry traveling through France was found carrying 684kg of cocaine. Oddly enough, the Home Affairs Committee met earlier today to discuss trends in cocaine use in the UK and to determine what efforts need to be made in order to curb supply and demand.
