The anniversary march sets off by zefrog
There was a rainbow in the sky yesterday in NYC as the Stonewall 40th anniversary celebrations happily coincided with Pride in the US. It was an altogether quieter affair in London but around 40 people gathered yesterday afternoon to march from LSE via Soho Square to a free cabaret and consciousness raising event in Kings Cross, parading rainbow colours through the streets. Read more reflections on Stonewall at the Times Online and have a look through pictures of San Francisco's Pride march, courtesy of SFist.
