There was the flashmob memorial moonwalk around Liverpool Street Station last night, a shrine outside the O2 and a vigil in Trafalgar Square. Music TV played back to back Michael Jackson videos and stories abounded about the records we bought, the dances we tried to do and speculation was rife about what will fill the O2 for fifty nights now. Could the show go ahead, a la the tragic Red Shoes, with just a spotlight following where Jacko should have been shaking his thing? We shall see.
In the meantime, if you haven't yet saturated on King of Pop nostalgia, Vue Cinema in the West End is showing Michael's cult classic movie Moonwalker tonight until Tuesday.
