Kings Place continues its excellent Words on Monday series tonight when neuroscientist-cum-Baroness Susan Greenfield gives the 2009 Royal Philharmonic Society Lecture called Listening Out To The Future. The talk will tackle music from a scientific perspective - what happens in the brain when we enjoy a symphony, for example. But the Baroness is also likely to revisit her current pet topic, the impact of the virtual world on the mind. You may recall her recent opinions on the potential dangers of social networking sites and cyber culture in general. Controversial stuff. The talk starts at 7pm and costs the usual (slightly pricey) £9.50.
