Inn For 2012

Bucking the trend of recession misery, belt tightening and doom mongering is jolly hotel chain, Holiday Inn, whose parent company Intercontinental Hotels Group are stumping up a rumoured £10 million in 2012 commercial sponsorship as well as bringing their expertise "in welcoming visitors and meeting customer needs" to the very large table. Holiday Inn is in the process of a massive rebrand and relaunch, having made hotel owners operating under their umbrella invest £100,000 in upgrading facilities, to nudge the famously cheep and cheerful lodgings ahead of a proliferation of budget-stay Travelodges and Premier Inns. Holiday Inn now leapfrog their competitors by becoming the official hotel services provider to the 2012 Games. Let's hope it's value, comfort and respect ahoy for the Olympic Village and spectator accommodation alike.
