Stuck for something to do tonight after you’ve had your fill of hat-based fun? The answer, obviously, is to take in the re-opening of the T Bar. When it closed down at the end of last year, the Shoreditch High Street venue seemed destined for nothing more than a thousand boozy memories of cover-charge-free debauchery. But before long the owners had secured a site on Houndsditch, planting a Shoreditch flag right in the soul of the City, and tonight the T will be reborn, countdown clock and all, to sounds spun by Michael Mayer and Jamie Jones. Entry is still free, with all the problems that entails, but hopefully the less obvious location means the overcrowding of previous years will be mitigated.
T Bar, 32-38 Dukes Place, EC3A 7LP (map). 9pm – 3am. Free.
