Swine Flu Marches On

Mr H1N1, yesterday.

Hamageddon may have been averted for now, but swine flu continues to have an impact on the capital. Three schools have been closed in London as a precautionary measure after two pupils at the Dolphin Primary School in Battersea, and individuals at Alleyn's School in Dulwich and South Hampstead High School were diagnosed with the virus. Thirteen cases are now known across the London area, and 27 nationwide, none of which are thought to be life threatening. The affected schools could remain closed all week, causing potential disruption to exams. Still, anyone sitting epidemiology this year should have some good source material.
