Morden bods have spent recent weeks not knowing where the next attack would come from... homes and cars were damaged and the noisy culprits have been keeping Leamington Avenue residents awake. The authorities were powerless to intervene. But it wasn't a gang of hoodies; it was a crow trying to impress the birds. Our feathered friend gouged holes in windowsills and windscreens in its frustration at not finding a mate. Thankfully it now seems to have pulled, but those who remember the sorry tale of the Battersea jogger may want to take cover during fledgling season. In a boarded up house with Tippi Hedren, perhaps.
