Preview: Love & Understanding @ Courtyard Theatre

loveandunderstanding.jpg Last seen being strangled at the Blue Elephant we're tracking down Natalie Lesser again, this time in a contemporary play but again grappling the vicissitudes of love and life. Joe Penhall's darkly comic play, Love and Understanding, dissects a modern medical romance that's flailing fast, by imposing a vicious blast from the past upon the fragile couple. To take the edge of the inevitable depressing diagnosis to come, take advantage of a pre-theatre offer at local pizzeria, Furnace, and get a free glass of wine with your meal. Just contact londonist@gmail.com and we'll ping you the voucher.

In the meantime, to win a free pair of tickets to the show on the date of your choice (subject to availabiliity), just answer this: What is the correct title of Joe Penhall's award winning play?

a) Blood Orange

b) Blue Orange

c) Black Orange

The competition closes on Saturday 25 April at midday and the winner will be notified by email. Love and Understanding opens at the Courtyard Theatre on 28 April-17 May. £15/12. Book online or call the box office,
