A new horticultural venue is opening for our roving Nature-ist reporters: Kilburn Library Garden. The site had fallen into general disrepair, with 20 years' worth of urban detritus accrued thereabouts. With the help of a small grant, volunteers have now cleared the area and embarked on a programme of landscaping and planting: the idea is to create an outdoor reading space - a little bookish haven for children and grown-ups alike. All jolly exciting. We will be following their progress with interest. Don't forget to let us know if there is stuff like this going on where you are. (Image/DICKSDAILY)
