Observe by randydandy – one of our winners
It wasn’t easy but they’ve made their selection and the winning photos are hooked up below. We’d like to say a massive thank you to everyone who entered the competition – it was a delight to see your work – and we’ll be projecting the entire Flickrpool onto the wall of Ray’s Jazz Cafe at Foyles on the night of 1 May. Please come along to our exhibition private view and party to celebrate our contest, view all the entries and meet some Londonist types. RSVP now!
As for the winners, they’ve all been contacted by Flickrmail and should get back to us as soon as possible to confirm they’re up for participating in the exhibition. Exact specifications for your prints, and when and where to deliver them, will follow very shortly. Just a reminder that we’ll be announcing special commendations on the night, with prizes courtesy of judge Brett and Shoot Experience and the winning photos will be used by Slow Down London to promote the campaign in press and PR.
One further big thank you to our judges for taking the time (however much they enjoyed it!) to pick our winning pictures – meet Brett Jefferson Stott, Mike Ramsden and Amanda Stone at the private view.
In the meantime, Slow Down London has a wonderful programme of events lined up, which we’ll be telling you more about shortly. So, take it easy out there.
Londonist Presents: Slow Exposure is at Ray’s Jazz Cafe, Foyles, Charing Cross Road from 24 April – 24 May, with a private view and party on Friday 1 May between 6-8.30pm… going on later at a venue tbc.
