Preview: Threatmantics

Welsh trio Threatmantics are headlining an evening of lovely noise at the Lexington tomorrow. Falling somewhere between roots-y blues folk and punk elements with catchy pop sensibilities. Also, instead of lead guitar, they have a viola. So sometimes you get more traditional sounds, sometimes some effects-tinged guitars, and while they generally have an excellent command of rhythm, sometimes things descend into harmonics over pounding drums. Don't be baffled - it's fantastic fun and you will want to dance.

Get there a bit early to catch London ladies An Experiment On A Bird In The Airpump.
