Preview: Telegraph Hill Arts Festival

TelegraphHill.jpg If you're near SE4 / SE14 over the next couple of weeks you should nip to leafy Telegraph Hill and have a gander at the Arts Festival, now in its 15th year. Performers are local professionals and amateurs doing a brilliant range of stuff. A cast of 200 belt out Brecht and Weill's Threepenny Opera (14th-15th), Lucy Porter tells funnies at the Comedy Night (16th), there's a night of folk music in musician Celia McNicholas's front room (22nd, space for only 12 people!) and the always popular murder mystery play. With open mics and open studios, talks and walks, tai chi and the Tea Leaf Arts Co-operative, quizzes and jazz(es), there's bound to be something that tickles your fancy.

Telegraph Hill Arts Festival, 13-29 March, at various venues around SE4 / SE14. For more information go to the festival website.
