Got some yarn? Got some needles? Got a penchant for social knitworking? Head down to Trafalgar Square on Saturday 14th March (9 till 4) for a collaborative knitting event. The Knit Me gathering hopes to recapture the magic of the last big stitch in the Square, when the four lions ended up with freshly knitted scarves, raising £3000 for Cancer Research UK. This time, it's a little less pre-planned, and possibly illegal. Knitting is clearly the new rock and roll.
