Cheam Cannabis Cultivation

A weed-growing operation has been foiled in Cheam after police raided a five-bedroom house. What might have tipped off neighbours that something wasn't right? Could it have been the blackout curtains at all the windows? Digging up the street to wire the house directly into the electricity mains? Or the fact that, of all the houses on the street, it was the only one without any snow on its roof last week? As the weather shuts Luton Airport again and causes floods, it's nice to know it also has crime fighting on its mind. (Image / duncan)
