Who needs fancy forensics or shoeprint databases? Two Sutton burglars who did a spot of breaking and entering on Monday night were caught - because they left tracks in the snow. Police heard a car alarm, saw an open garage door and a pair of footprints beautifully laid in the crisp new snow. After following the trail for over an hour they found the teenagers with their stolen swag. Just goes to show it's not just British transport that has problems coping with cold weather.
