Second Coming For Stow?

Walthamstow Stadium, which closed its doggy doors in August, is to be temporarily taken over by a huge evangelical tent this Christmas. Rumours of the second coming are rife but we're pleased to report that they're in relation to the possible return of dog racing to the Stow rather than the sensationally timed arrival of Christ to tented KICC worshippers. An American consortium with US dog tracks already under their belt is said to be interested in reviving the stadium and putting a shopping centre on the site. The Save Our Stow campaign call this a "promising development" but they've been disappointed before. Whilst they're not very happy about the imminent Christmas congregation descending on their beloved Stow, they must secretly be praying for a miracle too. Photo/Mondoagogo.
