Preview: Fucked Up

Over the summer, we had a grand old time when Canadian hardcore punks Fucked Up rolled into town and left a path of destruction in their wake. Now, we're super excited about their return to London this week for another hell-raising gig at Underworld. The band have had an extraordinary year with their latest offering, The Chemistry Of Common Life, making loads of year end lists. If you have yet to experience the joy and potential threat of bodily harm of their shows, now is the time to act; Underworld is probably the largest capacity venue you'd want to see a band like Fucked Up in. It's still just small enough for lead singer Pink Eyes to mingle among the crowd and work a little audience participation. Any larger, and he'd be confined to the stage. Where's the fun in that?
