Well yes but no. Having been born in Edinburgh and been back loads of time to see the ain folk. Edinburgh is not London and London is not Edinburgh.
Okay buildings are buildings but the streets? where in London are there main roads that are still cobbled (and dodgy when wet)?? more so as most are up hill !!
The main connection I suppose is the 39 steps, these were the original number of steps from street level to the platforms at Edinburgh Waverley Station, these are no longer all there as the Waverley shopping centre is built over a lot of them.
It’ll be interesting to se the program though, spot the building !!

Oops – double entry !!!
3D Telly – saw a prototype of this about 2 years ago, wow, fantastic, the demo was showing a footy match between cartoon bottles of sauce – red v brown. ‘camera’ views from behind the goal when the ball came through towards the viewer were really good. this prototype was British and didn’t require the viewer to wear oversized specs, only problem, is it was a problem, was the viewing angle was not too great, but then it was 3D so what would you expect !!
Haven’t heard about it since, pity really it was good idea, maybe it was just too expensive or the source footage difficult to obtain??
