London is now the continent's capital of 3D cinema as ODEON launched the first digital screens in Europe this week. It’s more than just getting to wear those funny glasses, as £1.5m has been spent on the cinemas in Greenwich and Wimbledon, allowing film-buffs to enjoy 'an immersive film experience’ with top-notch sound and image technology. Now showing over Christmas is Madagascar 2, and 2009 prospects include The Day The Earth Stood Still and the long-awaited Transformers movie! Check the schedule at www.odeon.co.uk
